Afternoon Delight.

Since the weather was pretty nice out, and the girls were dressed cute for Mass, we decided to take some photos outside in our backyard.
Kaeleigh took this one of Bill and I.
Maylyn, my sassy girl.
Kaeleigh, the curly haired one.
These two love each other. And I thought the matching outfits were adorable!
Me with my babies.

Ah, Summer...

Kaeleigh's my little artist. She told me that when she grows up she wants to be: A doctor, a nurse, an artist, and an ear pierce girl. Too funny.

I gave Maylyn a hair cut yesterday. Perfect for summer!

And Jake thinks he owns the place.

He just loves sleeping in Bill's chair or next to me on the couch. We'll need to break that habit eventually. But he's just too cute to resist right now.

Memorial Day.

We spent our Memorial Day kicking back...
catching some z's...
How was your holiday weekend?

This is Jake.

Say hello to Jake Ryan. (Sixteen Candles anyone?)
He's the newest member of the family.
Our little boy is a purebred Boxer.
We are definitely keeping this cutie.
Boxers are Bill's favorite dog. He used to have one and wanted to get another one that was a boy so there would be more testosterone in the house.
Kaeleigh thinks "Jack" is just "adorable."
And Maylyn thinks "she" is so "tute."

Ew.

After we sold Paisley I started researching pets that are better for people with allergies. Today I came across the grossest picture.

I seriously just threw up in my mouth. Why have a hairless cat? It's like drinking Diet/Caffeine Free Coke, what's the point?? (I mean, y'know how Monica feels about low fat mayonnaise? Monica: It's not mayonnaise!! )

I had to go search for something cute before that image was permanently burned into my brain. And this is what I found:

It's a Muggin! Some new hybrid dog, like a Puggle but smaller. Muggins are part Miniature Pincher, part Pug. Oh so cute!!

Kaeleigh Sings.

Kaeleigh's end of the year music performance was today. It was so funny.

Kaeleigh's teacher is so great. I give her major props because she's got an unruly class but has so much patience. I personally couldn't be a teacher, I have no patience at all. I'd want to smack someone.

I think my favorite part of the performance was when the little girl next to Kaeleigh wiped her nose and then held hands with Kaeleigh for the next song. Ahh, children...I'm so glad there's only one day of school left. And then a week til her summer program starts up. Hopefully she can stay healthy. (Fingers crossed, knock on wood and all that.)

Also entertaining was watching Maylyn try to sit still through the songs. That little boy crawled up to her and she tried to shoo him away.

She turned around to where my dad and I were standing and gave us dirty looks. Very funny afternoon overall.

Tomorrow marks Kaeleigh's last day of Kindergarten. Next year she'll be in First Grade!

I am officially old.

Birthday Recap.

The birthday girl in the "crown" she picked out, celebrating at "peeper" piper pizza.

Having fun playing games with her cousins Cameron and Hannah, and sister Kaeleigh.
I bought her birthday cupcakes from Costco instead of a cake this year. They were yummy!Blowin' out the candles!
Coloring this morning on her new coloring pad and crayons we got her for her birthday.Birthdays are the best when you're little.

My Maylyn.

Let me tell you a little bit about Maylyn...(I totally stole this idea from my friend)

4 years ago today she was born. Via c-section.
A whopping 6lbs 9oz.
She was such a good sleeper.
Pretty much slept through the first month of her life.
She didn't start getting hair until right before she turned a year old; earning the nickname "Baldy" from her grandpa.
Here she is on her 1st birthday. Going to town on some cake and resting during present time.

Maylyn loves her grandparents.

She loves her Aunties and Uncles.

She'll eat just about anything you put in front of her.
She loves summer time and swimming.

She loves taking walks...or just hanging out.

She loves her sister. No really, she does.

She loves animals. And getting her hair did. :)

She loves the holidays.

And helping with the laundry. Or just plain being a goofball.

So Happy Birthday to my little girl. I love you Maylyn!

Weekend Fun.

Bill took a long weekend and we spent it with our friends John, Carrie, and little John at their time share. We were having such a great time that I forgot to take pictures!
These are just a couple from one of our many trips to the pool.
Maylyn went down the water slide. Kaeleigh did not. Who's surprised? They had a blast swimming.
It's too bad the weekend had to end. We'll definitely go back!
