Mother's Day Memory Lane Pictorial.

In November 2003 I looked like this:
Giant belly and swollen feet. Only days away from delivering. After 30 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing, Kaeleigh refused to come out. So I had a c-section. And at 1:02pm on November 15, 2003 Kaeleigh was born weighing 6 lbs 14 oz.I may be a little biased, but she was the cutest baby I had ever seen. Not even an hour old and completely alert.

Holy crap, I'm a mother. Showers, sleeping in, uninterrupted meals? All things of the past.

Kaeleigh was a great baby. Crawled at 9mos. Walked at 10mos. And then we found out that she was going to be a big sister...Almost exactly 18mos after Kaeleigh was born I was back at the hospital again. This time with a scheduled c-section. Avoiding all labor, thank you very much. And at 9:37am on May 19, 2005 Maylyn was born weighing 6 lbs 9 oz. So small! Two kids at home now. Two kids in diapers. Holy crap times two. It's amazing to me how quickly time has passed since then.

And before you know it, they're grown.

Kaeleigh's 5 1/2 now and is almost done with Kindergarten.
Maylyn turns 4 in less than two weeks.
And I am truly blessed to be the mother of these healthy, beautiful girls. So Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. We Rock.
