Excitement.

So...this morning rocked.

Every morning I listen to Power 98.3.  The DJs in the morning are hilarious and they always do a segment called "JoJo on Film."  JoJo is the 5 yr old son of one of the DJs and he acts out scenes from movies.  If you call in with the correct answer then you win a prize.

Well this morning, Maylyn and I were headed home after dropping Kaeleigh at school and the scene was a classic.  "Luke, I am your father."  Who doesn't know that movie??

So I figure, what the heck, I'm just sitting here in traffic I'll try calling.  Yeah, they totally picked up! 

(I've tried calling radio stations in the past and no one ever answers, what are the chances??)

The guy that answers the phone gets my answer and says that they'll pick my line after the song ends, but I have to be really excited when I win.  And then asks me to show him how excited I'll be.

This is me, "Woo hoo!"

This is him, "No, that's not good enough.  You need to be more excited."

Me:  "WOO HOO!"

Him:  "Ok, that's good.  Make sure you do that on air."

I'm completely nervous for the DJs to pick up, I almost say screw it and hang up that's how nervous I am.  So they pick up, get my answer, I yell all excited (feeling completely ridiculous) and I win two tickets to go see Avatar!!  To get my tickets I have to drive to the station in Phoenix.  Maylyn, who'd been so good this whole time, wants to know why I'm yelling.  Ha ha!  So awesome.  She and I drive into Phx to get them and the receptionist asks if we'd like a tour.  Uh, heck yeah we would!

The guy who initially answered my call this morning took us on a tour of the station.  We got to meet the DJs and Maylyn was given candy so she was happy.  One of the DJs liked how excited I was this morning and hooked me up with the both the Lady Gaga and Mary J. Blige cds!

Such an exciting morning I just had to share.

Oh, and here's an updated pic.  I chopped off all of my hair in honor of the new year. 

Hard to see, but it hits the bottom of my earrings.
