The rain on our camping trip kept us camper-bound,
so the Husband was teaching me some card games.
He taught me how to play Gin.
And it turns out I'm not very good at it.
Then he taught me how to play Poker.
And it turns out I'm not very good at it either.
But one of our hands of poker was pretty freakin' funny.
We look at our cards and I decide to put down two for two more
and the Hubs, knowing that he has a good hand, smirks and says he only needs one card.
I pick up my new cards and look at them.
The Hubs says that he's not even going to look at the new card he got.
So I lay down my cards and I've got a whole lotta nothin'.
The Hubs lays down his cards one at a time.
5, 6, 7, 8.
He lays his finger on the card that's still face down on the table and tells the girls to say the magic word.
Kaeleigh yells, "Abracadabra!"
He turns over the card...and it's a 9.
It was all very Maverick.
We laughed for a good ten minutes.
Seriously, how often does something like that happen?!
So, so awesome.
