Savings.

I love when the cashier at the grocery store hands me my receipt and tells me how much I saved on a shopping trip.
I especially love it when what I saved was nearly what I spent.  Score!
For example, today while the girls were in school (see how much I get done?!)
I ran to Fry's to take advantage of their sale before it ended today.
And I got all of this stuff:
  • 4 boxes of Capri Suns
  • 4 Hungry Man Dinners
  • 3 boxes of General Mills cereal
  • 2 packages of Del Monte fruit cups
  • 1 six-pack of sugar free applesauce
  • a box of graham crackers
  • 8 Lunchables
  • 1 Dole Romaine salad package
  • 3 Gala apples
  • 1 package of shredded cheese
  • 1 package of bagels
  • 1 bag of Cheetos
  • 1 bag of Frito's
  • 2 Juicy Juice containers
  • 6 yogurts
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 18 pk of eggs  (we go thru a lot of eggs)
My total:  $54.
My savings:  $42.
And that's without using coupons, because I had forgotten them at home, dang it!

I'm diggin' the savings.  I feel like such a rock star when that happens!
