Finally!

Finally an update!

December ended with The Husband being sent to work in Texas for what we thought was going to be a 12 week stint.  It only ended up being for about six weeks thankfully!  He was able to fly back every two weeks to visit for the weekend but one weekend every two weeks was just not enough for us needy females.  We missed him.

January ended up being another one of those months where I only took about 15 pictures.

So, so sad.

At the beginning of the month we attempted to watch my mom go up in her hot air balloon ride but the day that we went it was too windy and she had to reschedule.

Here's a picture I took of the girls while we were waiting for the crew to decide if they were going up or not.

We didn't end up going to watch on the day she finally went up.

It was way too early in the morning and a REALLY long drive so we just looked at all of the pictures that she took when she got home.

Here's a couple...

She really enjoyed the ride and wants to go again.  The girls both really want to go along too if she does go again.  I don't know though...I think Kaeleigh will be too afraid to go.

We also had a play date with some of our favorite friends at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler.

I'm sure there were other things that we did but for the life of me I can't remember what they were.

I did start reading the Harry Potter series.  I figured it was about time I jumped on that bandwagon.  I finally finished the seventh book just before the end of February and now I've just got to watch the movies for that last book.

Exciting, right??  Reading all seven Potter books in about two months...does that make me a dork?  I also read "The Help", Janet Evanovich's 17th Stephanie Plum book, and the newest J.D. Robb.  I guess that does make me a book nerd.  :)
