I think Jake partied a little too hard on his birthday because he has been one sick boy!
Yesterday I had to take him to the vet because he was throwing up, not eating or drinking, and just kind of laying around. Not normal for our big boy! Or any dog for that matter.
Doesn't he look pathetic? This was on the way to the vet.
They did some x-rays and sent him home with some nausea medicine and a pouch of fluid under his fur.
He spent the rest of the day like this:
Poor baby.
He seems to be a lot better today. He's eaten a little bit and has been more playful.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was just a bug and it leaves his system soon!
Poor puppy! One of our dogs caught a tummy bug a couple years ago, it was scary. He was all wobbly-legged and had major diarrhea (yuck). But he got better :-)
